Boston Town Crier was founded in 2009 by Donald Watson, a lifetime resident of Boston. Mr. Watson is one of the original Freedom Trail Foundation players and was the first to create walking tours on the Freedom Trail in colonial-era attire. Mr. Watson is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild, appearing in film, tv, and on-stage, which lends to his entertaining performances as James Otis while giving tours with BTC. Mr. Watson has received commendations from the Governor of Massachusetts, federal judges, and recognition on a national level. 

We run public tours of the first 11 stops of the Freedom Trail seven days a week, rain or shine at 9:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM, as well as private extended tours of the Freedom Trail and corporate and seasonal events. See Our Tours for more information.
